Supporting the High Sheriff of Warwickshire

On 1st October 2026, some 18 teams gathered to support the High Sheriff of Warwickshire, Mrs Susan Rasmussen, in her fundraising day for Warwickshire Crimebeat. The event was held courtesy of Stratford upon Avon Golf Club and consisted of a shotgun start, nearest the pin judged by Mervyn Kimberley one of the trustees of the charity, and the longest drive. After the golf, there was a fundraising dinner where prizes were awarded and through the combination of a raffle and an auction, just under £5,000 was raised for the charity. None of the above could have happened without the dedication of the High Sheriff and her golf committee made-up of Richard Samuda, Anne Greenwell and Mary Peirson and the charity is incredibly grateful to this team for all their work.
